I fished from shore above Rocky Reach Dam. There were at least a dozen of us bankies. And, at least that many boats. Pretty quiet. From shore we were trying hootchies and shrimp under bobbers. The fish are passing thru. We could see them swim by! Getting their interest in anything was a different story. I did not nor did any of the others around me, see a net fly with the exception of one fish caught next to me. Most of the others were gone by 10:00. (The smart ones). Not me, I had the day off and I was gonna fish! I stuck with it trying different spots, colors and depths. Depending on the wind and or current, I fished 2 poles about 75% of the time. By 16:30 I was cooked and so were my shrimp.
Fish Dawg was looking for a net man this weekend up at Brewster. I jumped at the chance. I hope to give his net a workout!! Report to come.
