We had a fantastic morning today down here at Astoria/B-10! In 4 hours we landed 7 kings and 2 keeper Coho. Fishing has been fantastic.
We started the day at daylight down at the bottom of Desmonia sands directly out from Chinook, WA in about 30 feet of water. We held in this area through the last part of the outgoing tide. Just after low slack we started trolling back up river with the tide toward the church hole. There was a very good bite just after the tide change. We continued to follow the tide and the fish all the way up through the church hole up toward the Astoria Bridge. We finished our Chinook limit in this area and after a little more fishin targeting Coho we decided to head in to port as we were really only hooking Chinook.
I have some openings the next few days. I have 2 seats available on the 16th, 17th, and 18th. I have full boats open the 19th and 20th, 23rd. I also have some more dates available that following week. The fishing is truly amazing now and should only get better as we approach the traditional peak the last two weeks of August.
