Well we left Moses Lake at 04:00 and got to White Bluffs only to wait in line for 1 1/2 hours to launch the boat. We fished with the other 100 plus boats and didn't get a single bite. The fish were there jumping all over the place, just could not get them to bite. We tried super baits, super cut plug baits packed with tuna, we used every scent we had. We tried roe and even threw out wiggle warts just for the hell of it. We fished 5' from the bottom and tried up to 20' in water that was 35' deep. We washed our hands and all flashers and baits each and every time they were handled with lemon scent joy. Fish just didn't want any part of it.
We talked to about a dozen other fisherman and almost nobody caught anything. We didn't see one single fish caught by anyone. A few of the fishing guides we talked to were coming up dry. They said the day before was great but Sunday the bite seemed to be extremely slow. Maybe they are all up at Vernita, but as for White Bluffs it skunked us. I will try again.
