I haven't fished for kokanee in years but they are my Grandpa-in-laws favorite so with my son in tow, the three of us headed out for a day of trolling! The generous limit on kokanee brought us to Chapman and while paying our $5 launch fee , we gathered a little advice for the day and headed out. It took a couple of hours to figure out a key but with about 1 oz of lead, a 000 dodger, a rubber snubber, a treble hooked wedding ring with white corn on every hook we found reasonable success. Managed to get 11 in the boat after six hours and lost probably 15-20 within feet of the net. All were between 8"-10" and were delicous BBQ'ed. This lake has beautiful scenery and a no wake rule lakewide so it made the trip even more enjoyable. We will definitely be back!
