11/24/2015 4:40:00 PMAmazing post. Congrats! I was wondering if when you say you were flat lining on mono, does that mean you didn't use any weight to get your flies down under the surface? I (long line) over here for konanee quite a bit, but I always use a little weight to get it down under the surface a little depending on what time of the year it is. Thanks.

11/25/2015 9:12:00 PMmoosezema; Wow! That's amazing. I will have to be sure to give that a try when we get over that way. It looks like Dec.14th thru the 19th time frame if the weather cooperates. If not then, probably sometime in January. We were on Swift lake today. The water was quite dirty from all the rain, so we didn't have much hope of catching anything. But we ended up bringing home 16 rainbows. We had to release several adipose fin steelhead, and had quite a few hits from fish that never really committed. The kekeda perch fly on a leaded line 150 feet back was the most productive. But it was a beautiful day to be on the water and enjoying nature.

11/30/2015 12:47:00 PMClawman I have used a flasher before but found I have had just as much luck without one. If I go to the downriggers I like to use a flasher/fly combo. I fished Sunday Nov. 29 and had a slower day for sure. We boated 9 fish and lost just as many. The lake is dropping and I think the fish are moving south with the plankton. We found them in small schools right along the bank south of Chalk Grade. It was a bit cold too, water temp was 42.5 and air temp finally reached 21. Lambojac I hear the bank fishing has been picking up so keep us informed on how you do. Strikezone sounds like you had a great day and let me know if you need anything when you head this way mid December.
