Here is a late report for thanksgiving weekend.
Fished "A" rock Friday afternoon with family and friends. Found the fishing to be spotty at best. Trolled flies and hootchies tipped with fire corn 150' behind the boat in the 10 -20 foot range. Picked up a few net pen fish, Pink and orange was working best for us.
I think that the locals may have beat us to the fish at "A" Rock?
Went out Saturday to the Goat farm area and did much better, same gear, flies and hootchies, again smaller fish but lots of them and a great day on the water.
Fished Sunday at Jones bay and again caught lots of the net pen fish and one very nice Kokanee.
All in all a great weekend on the lake. lots of fish for the smoker and great times with family.
Lots to be thankful for on Lake Roosevelt.
