Got to hunters boat launch at 6:30 . Water levels are low I don't suggest using this launch unless you have a shallow boat. It rained till 8:30 but no wind . Most fish were caught in the afternoon using jigs in 30/40 fow . We landed 8 between the two of us not great but had a blast.

Were you fishing right in front of the launch? From the picture it looks like it. I think I'll be trying at Hunters Friday after I get off work. I normally fish just north of the launch past the rock cliff jumps but that's in June when the waters up higher. I never have fished this early in the season but now that I have a boat I can't wait to get out there.

The park service was out there on Monday cleaning up the ramp. For those of you new to the area, Hunters ramp is... Well... Odd. If you're standing at the top of the ramp looking toward the lake, it goes straight for about 35 ft of elevation drop, then it hooks to the right. Lake was at 1256' today, Hunters ramp is good down to 1230'.

Hunter's ramp is odd to say the least, and a giant pain to get cranked around.
Talked to the park service fellow at Gifford yesterday. He had just got done sweeping the ramp and had it down to bare concrete. It looked great and still had quite a bit of concrete still in the water. Best bet is to launch there and boat down to Hunters less headache launching and retrieving.
