Well what a perfect day for Kokanee fishing, launched at Spring Canyon lines in the water 7am first fish in the boat 7:30, 21 inch rainbow released unharmed, next fish in the boat at 8am 19 inch Kokanee what about beautiful fish, caught on pink fly with smiley blade baited with corn and maggots and Gibbs dodger, next fish 8:15, dodger and pink hoochie 18.5 inches,next fish 4 colors leaded with pink fly again and boy howdy what a fish took drag immediately and gave a really good fight, both of us could not believe the size of this Kokanee 23 inches and thick shoulders, biggest Kokanee I ever seen, next fish 8:40 18 inches done by 9 and headed for launch and home, 3 fish caught 12ft the other at 15ft.These fish truly are amazing!! Tight lines an keep reelin!
