Steelhead fishing above McNary Dam continues to produce. Slow trolling plugs or bobber and bait fishing are the methods of choice. This time of year, the fish are very spread out. Trusting good electronics is very important to find the correct depth to target. Speed is also important. The slower the better, but you need to be in the strike zone as long as possible with the cold water temperatures. Fishing will continue to produce through February as these fish hold in the pools until Spring water fluctuations occur. If interested in giving it a try, give me a call. I have a few openings mixed in between the awesome walleye bite that is going and our keeper sturgeon season that opened January 1st.
