Day was partly cloudy - no wind until about 10:30 - then breezy 10-12kts out of the SW with gusts a little
higher. Launched at 7 Bays, what a hike for a 77yr old - glad I used the treadmill during the winter, and
headed to Hawk creek to begin a troll to the north until we could find their depth and locate small concentrations.
Caught the first one just after starting the troll - that was the last one until we hit the confluence. Caught
another one just after starting the troll again - saw small concentrations of 'eyes at 42' (+ or - a ft or so).
We wanted to switch to jigging, but the wind came up and spot lock would have to work overtime, so
thought we go elsewhere to try to find some more - long story short we went as far as porcupine and the
further up we got the worse the water got - decided to hang it up and go home early - nice day, nice
scenery - we'll hit it again next week.

Check the water level before you head out next time.... they are still dropping the lake about a foot per day and 7 bays may be high and dry by then. The target is about 1220' by April 30th. The Inchelium ferry is being shut down for the next month or so due to low water levels! This link is what I use for lake Roosevelt levels:

Prediction is 1222.7' by April 30th. Won't be any usable launches by then even though Spring Canyon claims to be so down to 1222'.
