Launched the boat at a gravel bar above Buffalo Eddy at 1:00 pm, went upriver about three miles and put the lines in for a slow back troll. River temp. 46.7*, no wind, sunny. In about thirty minutes my rod gives a big tug, and a Steelhead is on, fought for about fifteen minutes before I slid the net under a five pound wild one. After that I managed to lose two that I never saw, then caught a nice seven pound buck, shown in the picture. It starts getting pretty dim in the canyon at 3:30 pm, that is when I picked up and headed for home. Ken

Nice Fish! I went to Lyons ferry this weekend and the weather was terrible for fishing. Fished from shore on the Toucannon and caught one. Were you using Hawg boss crankbaits per our previous conversation?

I was using one of the old reliable Hot-N-Tot plugs, only problem with them is that they get out of tune pretty easy. Ken
