My buddy backed out on me at the last minute, so I wasn't going to go, but my Dad and Mom decided they wanted to go - only problem is they don't like getting up early. Hit Boyer Park at 9:30 am, and fished for Sturgeon until 2:00 pm. Nothing. Nada. Zilch.

Here is what we did. We started downstream from Granite Dam, about a mile. 5 of 8 spills were open, so the current was 2.5 mph. Anchored in 33 feet of water off the south bank (deepest spot I could find) about halfway between Boyer and the dam. Nothing. Fished all the way up to the restriction line off the dam. Nothing. Tried about 6 different spots, all upstream from Boyer and didn't get a thing all day.

Tried raibow trout cutbait, whole herring, and roll-mop herring. Help me out guys, what am I doing wrong?
