I am fricking glad I took the day off to go down, since my brother and a friend of ours went yesterday, did good and caught one keeper.

We arrived there just as it was time to fish. My first thought was there isn't much of a current in that spot in front of the rock pile below the porta poti. That is the hole though. At 6:45 the first fish of the day was on and I never saw it. It played me and my brother taking turns then broke off in those rocks. The same thing around 9:00 this fish jumped once and we played it about 45 min before it broke off (guessing around 6'). Right after that my brother hooked into another one this fish wore us both out. It took us around an hour to get this 7' in.

After that I was beat and hungry, we went to boyer to eat lunch and that was a mistake. When we got back, the spot was taken by a couple of elderly gentlemen I had seen there before. must be locaols. Tried down the other end for a while one bite shook off bite. then we went to the otherside untill 2:00, no luck. Great day sturgeon fishing my arms are hurting.

By the way I hooked the fish on trout and my brother caught his 7' on pickled herring. I will try to get the pics on my wife may have to do it for me.
