Headed on down for the Springers at Texas rapids and experienced the best ever salmon fishing ever Sat. we had our limit by 11:00. trolling sardine wrapped quick fish at 17ft. caugh a couple of large natives in between. Sunday was a different story as the water picked up an came up to much debri floating down stream so we gave up and headed home. Next year I will not wait. Back after the sturgeon next weekend but I think I might give a try at little goose. several were caught the sat and several keepers not like LGD where you get about 20 oversized fish before you get a keeper.
