Fished for smallmouth on the Snake today downstream from Clarkston. Wasn't sure if things would be blown out after all the recent flows. Lots of debris in the water, but it wasn't terribly murky. Fish were hitting crankbaits in 2-6 feet of water. Used a chartreuse crawfish. C&R'd 6 between 4-7 pm, lost a few. So not hot, but they were biting. Wind made it really hard to stay in position, probably would have done better if I could have controlled the boat better. Water temps were between 52-54.
A couple chinook breached close to the boat, that was kind of exciting.
