Thank you from sturgeoneaters wife and godbless you all! We thought he was retired from the army but as anyone knows this day and age you get called you go. My husband was concerned about three things these last two weeks first me and his children, second the men he will serve with and third the state of Sturgeon fishing of all things. He loves all fishing, although, he was concerned it would'nt be long before they closed the Sturgeon fishing on the Snake. He seen it happing on Lake Roosevelt! His first consern is he would like to see regs on fast rusting hooks and he used to use braided but has changed from that due to the light of catching fish he cut up while wrapped around his line. Now we have been catching fish wrapped in it and cut up including one with a ball of it in its gills. So after telling him about all your thank yous this morning as he was reporting to Ft.Lewis we wanted me to bring that up to you all. Sorry I am not as tech or eq savy as he or you so please start a discussion on this subject fisherman. And WDFW officails out there you too. Please do what it takes to have a Sturgeon fishery in the future for all our children.
