Fished Sept 7 with 6 other guys in three boats. We all drifted shrimp on a bobber behind the boat. The depth vaired for 16 to 20' Red seemed to be best but got some on purple too.Fish were 4 to 8 1/2 lbs.

Since when did it become "SAD" to catch and keep a limit of hatchery Steelhead?

gooybob I'm sorry the pics of the fish offened you. There were 7 of us fishing so it wasn't a fish slaughter. The washington game dept has plenty of fish in the hatcheries so they want all the hatchery fish removed from the system so the don't degrade the genentics of the wild fish. That's why the limits are so liberal

wow we cancelled out on a trip for this monday but now I might change my mind and drag the boat down there,how far from the dam were you guys fishing ? And by the way did I say WOW !!
