This report is a tad past due but the steelhead fishig had been pretty decent during the peak of the early fall run. My buddy Roger AKA: Paccbassman had a couple of good days with 4 keepers over three trips. Rog and I took home 9 keepers total over a period of couple of weeks. The fish counts counts are down right now so the fishing has slowed up quite a bit. We scored with dyed red, pink and purple prawns set on a depth of 6 to 9 feet with slip bobbers off of the bank. My new fishing buddy Flip' Shelotovsky had a great month of September for bigger hatchery fish. The fish checker seemed to confirm the slow down in the bite recently so I was pretty happy to get in on the action during the peak period. Thanks again to all my new friends like Flip, Jesse, Josh and others who helped me net my fish. You all are great guys and I look forward to fishing with you all again! Tight lines, Jiggy.
