Got to spend a day with some great clients of mine fishing for Sturgeon in the Heller's Bar Area of the Snake River. The water was higher than normal and the weather a little unsettled. We only picked up one fish, but that one was the a great fish. The fish we did land was a 7 1/2 foot big female that was full of piss and vinegar! This fish bit on a fresh salmon belly that was caught the day before. All I can say is that a sturgeon fishing trip in this area is a fantastic way to spend a day. The month of June is fast approaching and is one of the very best month of the year to chase Snake River Sturgeon.
