Fished out of wawawai from 4-7. Breezy at first, then died down around 6. Water temps ranged from 58 to 63. Nothing in particular seemed to be preferred. Caught several smaller bass (10-11 inch) at a few different spots mainly in about 1-7 feet of water. White spinner bait and crankbait seemed work okay also unweighted wacky rigged senko. At the last spot, got about 5 bass and a squawfish on a jerkbait in about 4-5 feet of water. That was the most consistency of the afternoon, generally picked up one or two at any particular spot, then nothing. Largest was a 2+ lb female on the jerkbait (first cast with a new vision 110). Fins looked a little beat up and she had a belly, so maybe was on a bed?
Maybe the bite is off right now after all the rain, so will give it another shot maybe over the weekend. Surprised that there is still a bit of debris in the water. Water clarity a lot better than a few weeks ago, but not particularly clear, vis about 2-3 feet. A lot of roadwork going on between Pullman and Wawawai, only had to wait about 10 minutes, but there was a sign saying delays up to 1 hour.
