Fished today in the Heller Bar Area of the Snake River. We had a great day going 10-15 side drifting corkies and eggs. It took us a while to get on the fish today but once we did we experienced some incredible fishing. Due to the incoming cold front we found fish in the places we normally fish during the cold water months of December and January, but the water Temps were still in the lower 50's.

Fishing will continue to be good in this area all the way through January! I have quite a few openings over the next two months so please get in touch with me if you are thinking about a snake river steelhead trip.

Fish the Columbia, Snake, and Clearwater Rivers for salmon, steelhead, and sturgeon. For drift boat trips on Idaho's Clearwater and Washington's Grande Ronde rivers, we fish out of a 20x72 Willie Drift Boat.
