We had an absolutely fantastic day on the lower end of Hell's Canyon today. We started our day out of Heller Bar at daylight and quickly found ourselves in the middle of an absolutely gorgeous day on the water. We ended up with high Temps in the mid 40's and bright sunshine. I love winter days in the Canyon!

The fishing was great today as well. We landed 6 steelhead and had chances at at least 6 more. All our fish came side drifting yarn balls with shrimp and eggs. We have been averaging 6-10 fish every day to the boat and a few days we have had more. Winter fishing in Hells Canyon can be fantastic. The fishing will stay good throgh at least the middle of February!
