Made the 45 mile drive to see if I could find a bass this morning. I got to the lake at 8 and threw a pointer minnow in a bluegill imitation. I ended up with 4 bass averaging about 1.5 lbs. I also landed this 6.2 lb brooder rainbow on the same lure. The lure ended up becoming jewlery for another monster fish it got bit off as the fish took off for the center of the lake... Was using 8 lb floro!
