We went fishing out on the lower Trinity River, CA this past weekend. The water levels have come up due to recent releases so it's not as bleak as it has been. We found some success fishing roe though it feels like the season is starting to wane. Heard from a bunch of folks that the steelhead were really in the river now and that folks were having a lot of success with spoons. Will probably head out there soon with some spoons and dry flies this weekend and see what we can get.
