This is a multiple day report, fishing Lake Superior in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.

I ice fished Munising Bay from 2/10 - 2/12 and 2/18 - 2/21 for Splake (a lake trout/brook trout hybrid) and Lake Whitefish. The first trip I had great success on Splake using a minnow under a bobber and even got a few on wax worms. The Whitefish weren't as cooperative, but I did manage a few small ones using a single salmon egg.

The second trip was a bit slower, I caught fish, but they were pretty small for the most part, managing one day with a 3 fish limit of splake. I also got a few small whitefish again with the single egg.

I definitely miss fishing in WA, but I'm making due out here. I'll try to post more reports with pictures as I'm planning on a last ice trip to Lake Huron for perch in the next week or two.
