Got on the water about 9:30am after breakfast. Air temp was about 37 with 20 mph winds which made it bone chilling. Water temps in the first area we started out in were 47. Moved to another spot and found water temps at about 49....it wasn't until 3pm or so that the pike started to bite. We put 20 in the boat between 3pm and 7:30pm and missed quite a few more. I know this lake can produce impressive numbers thats why I only gave it a 4, but either way a great way to start out the pike season.
