I went fishing on American lake for a short time on Monday. Fishing was tuff because the Skiers were out in abundance were making some pretty huge waves. I tried trolling with a wedding ring for a little bit but didn't get any bites, then started working a small Dick Nite while my kids fished with bobbers/worms near the VA Hospital. I was only able to catch one small rock bass and didn't even see any trout.

This is the third time in a row I have gone here without any trout. I think I am going to hang up my trout poles for a while and start back up bass fishing until the temperatures starts dropping.
