I thought I would stick close to home and give Clear lake a try. I ended up taking out my friends Jared and Liz. We started fishing at the lake around 9 in the morning and we were off the water around 11 am. We hooked our first fish about 7 minutes into trolling on a pink wedding ring at ten feet. Once we landed that fish I don't think we ever had a chance to get all the rods back in the water at the same time. The fish just seemed to bite one after another. we also used a flo. orange and black wedding ring, and had two top lines with rainbow trout rapala style lures. Our trolling speed was 1.8-2 mph. It was a fantastic day to be on the water with some great friends. I would suggest giving this little lake a try as there are plenty of trout to be had here. The biggest of the day was about 2lbs.
