We fished Williams Lake for the 14th year in a row and as usual, we weren't disappointed. We trolled at 1.5-2.0 MPH long lining spoons and Rapala floating minnows. Fishing was very good with several times having 3 hook ups at a time and doubles. My 10 yr old son caught the week end opener's biggest fish at Klink's Resort at 5 1/4 pounds.

We caught our limits each day with no problems (not hard to do when it's stocked) including 2 fish at 4 pounds and a 3 pounder. We caught 57 fish total and released all but about 20 fish. ( For you wanna be game wardens, it is legal to catch and release fish all day long until the limit is kept so long as you don't use bait, which we didn't.) Gold was the color of the day as it had the most fish caught. Not as many fisherman on the lake this year as previous years, may be because the water was higher.
