Ok - So I live in Parkland and I have to admit that I've never caught a trout out of Spanaway lake. It's not for lack of trying I don't think so I gave it another shot this morning. I setup on the concrete pathway just to the north of the boat house and was pitching yellow power bait. To the north of my position was a rather cool chap that kept telling me to use orange. Sure enough he had a nice stringer of fish but they all looked a bit small to me. (I guess they were keepers) I did switch to orange power bait and got 2 hard bites but no fish. Better luck next time... Right?
