I've been living in Bellingham for two years and I finally got around to fishing Lake Padden. Got to the lake around 6am, and there were already quite a few people. I wanted to fish off the dock, but there were too many people for my liking, so I found a spot along the trail. Line in the water around 6:15, first fish at 6:30, had my limit by 8. Fishing off the bottom with a 3 foot leader and two chartreuse power eggs. Lots of little nibbles too, although many of the people that walked by said it had been a slow morning.
