went back to Alder Lake for a day of fishing, we (Alexis and I) fished from the boat launch at Rocky Point, the fishing was great, with constant bites, but be warned that the water around that area is very snag prone if you like to fish off the bottom, and we went through probably 10 bucks worth of swivels, hooks and weights. We brought in a long steady stream of fish over the 5 and a half hours that we were there, mostly Perch around 6 inches long, but a couple of small bass, and a small trout as well, we ended up keeping two fish for dinner because they had swallowed the hook, one of them was the largest perch I have ever personaly seen, caught by my wife it measured a full 12 inches long (Do not know how much it weighed since we couldn't find our fish scale, I wish we had taken a digital camera with us). The other fish we kept was another perch 10" or so long. All in all a good day of fishing up at the lake.
