Any day fishing is a better day than at work. Not the best weather with cloudy skies nearly all day, but a productive day fishing.
Only saw three other boats fishing for an hour here and there so we felt pretty much to ourselves.

16 fish were briefly in the boat and we all collectively lost at least another 16. Kept a few fish this time, but most all went back to swim another day. P. boated 7 trout and 1 small largemouth bass. K. boated 5 rainbow. I boated 3 (was smelling skunky there for a long time, though).

Found an area in the lagoon where we spring lined the boat between tree limbs and tied up for a sheltered picnic lunch. Three out bobbers and worms while we ate and surprisingly no bites. But on the troll after lunch with spoons and lures did fine.

Water temperature was up almost three degrees from last week. Soon the bass should be moving!
