Unfortunately I hadn't watched the news and I planned of fishing Summit lake for the first time. I drove down there to find out the lake was closed due to toxic algae. Only thing I could think of doing was drive back to Ward lake since I have been having so much fun fishing there lately. I arrived at the lake around noon and fished for a couple hours. The fish were holding at 20-25 feet deep. I think I hooked my first fish in less than ten minutes of fishing. It was a beautiful Sunny day on the water I was using lucky craft lures and Nerka bugs which is a kokanee and trout lure that I make. I fished till about 2:30 and the fish were biting the whole time. I decided I am going to start doing go pro video on my future fishing trips. I uploaded a few of the fish I caught on youtube. Feel free to like or subscribe to my channel.
