Headed out to Lake Sammamish on Sunday and had a great day out on the kayak. I trolled around the lake between the state park and the weather buoy. Picked up a couple huge balls of bait on the fish finder a little southwest of the buoy and then it was fish on! I was able to keep myself busy all morning. I had really good luck with a little white Mack's wedding ring pro & a silver slingblade. No bait or scent, fishing 15-25 feet down with lead-core.

Things get really interesting out there once the wake-board boats are on the water. I won't soon forget landing a fish while "I'm too sexy for my shirt..." was blasted out the back of some guys boat. Gotta love Sammamish when the sun comes out ;) The fish didn't seem to mind all that much. It got a little toasty so I was off the water at about 1pm. By then the water temp had come up to 72F. It's getting pretty warm out there. Ended up with 7 in the net and a couple bonus yellow perch. All catch and release.
