6/6/2017 4:20:14 PMI forgot to add that almost all fish have been cookie cutter 12" stockers but there's also been a couple closer to 10" and a few in the 14" - 15" range. The fly is of my own design so I can't tell you a name to go along with it that you'd recognize. I've just always called it "Jeff's Flashing Willie" and no that's not why.

6/7/2017 1:12:20 PMYes, all fish were in the top waters on my first two trips also with fish jumping everywhere, I had to start stripping as soon as my fly hit the water or I was too deep. This past weekend there were still some rises and jumpers but not nearly to the same extent. I'm thinking next trip I will start high again and go deeper if not successful pretty quickly, but unfortunately it will be the weekend after this one as I'm booked up with to many chores.
