The morning was rainy but my son and I hit the lake about 9AM. We worked our way around the lake in our usual pattern. Nothing much happened except for some small bass following a perch crank until we got down to the East end. Fishing wasn't hot, but we caught 7 or 8 bass, the largest two going 15-16".
We had the most success with perch colored shallow cranks, and a few more on swimjigs. I'm not sure if the fish actually preferred those baits or things just "turned on" a bit. We wrapped it up at about 2:30PM. We had a light rain most of the day.
