I left the main lake to the pleasure boaters yesterday and spent the day fishing a few of the chain lakes for pike. Killarney produce three fish, swan gave up two and cave and medicine were a bust for me. Top two fish were from Killarney with one at 29" and one at 31". I never could establish a pattern. I got 5 fish on 4 different baits. Spoon, spinner bait, frog and glidin rap are the lures that worked. The fish were found in 2 to 8 feet of water and scattered. I never did find any two fish in the same area. Had to work hard all day for 5 fish. I rated the day at a 3 due to a low quantity of fish. The wife came along and did some sun bathing and napping so that rates it a 5 :)
