Fished Thompson and Anderson when we arrived around noon till around 5:30. Had no luck at either of the lakes.
May have been the heat or time of the day. Didnt see anyone else catching fish either. Air temp was 85. Water temp was 74.
So we said screw it and jumped in and went swimming.
We headed up to Killarney around 6pm and got 4 crappie and 2 pike in the boat by sunset.

07/03/2017 @ Killarney 5 star day
Woke up early and the pike bite was HOT. Picked up 8 pike by 8:30.
They bit on: Red spinner Bait, Medium Dare Devil Spoon, and the spoon pictured below (I believe its Cabelas brand)
The spoon in the picture was hot for most of the morning, Ill be picking up several more in different patterns soon.

We tried everything in our boxes and never saw a single bass this trip. Very disappointing because we usually do quite well there.
In total we brought home 2 pike each and several crappie, released a lot of others.
