Tried Icehouse Lake today to see if any trout were left in there that were willing to bite to some snagless spinners. That was a fast no. So, my buddy and I switched to using salmon eggs on a size 10 hook right next to the bank for some bluegill. Literally, we'd just hold a pole out over the water, lower the hook in, and watch for the bluegill to bite. They'd usually hit within a few seconds, sometimes more, making for very fast fishing. If a particular spot became wary of our hooks, we'd just move over to a new spot and try that for a little while. If the lake (pond?) were busier, this wouldn't have been possible. We were lucky today and only had herons and a game warden for company.

We each took ~4 lbs. home.
