Fished summit lake today. Water was warm with a good bite about 25 feet down estimated. No need for riggers just a good size inline weight. Hooked/missed probably a dozen or more fish each between 2 of us, fished for about 3 hours, all fish released. No kokanee just some nice shiny rainbows. Overall did good today, one of us troller a dodger with an orange squid and tippped with a worm and other was just a blue wedding ring tipped with worm. Both caught equal amounts of fish. They were active today. Was windy but overall a good day with minimal boats.

We tried to find some Kokes at Summit yesterday (Monday). Caught our 15 limit of rainbows in 3 hrs and didn't see a single Kokanee. Might be a rough year for salmon there or maybe just so many stocked trout it's hard to keep them off!

Ya not sure what is up with the koke this year at summit. Maybe that algae problem had an affect on it but not sure. Atleast the trout are nice and bright and not boots like most other lakes. Between summit having a slow year for kokes and riffe being hard to get into this year it sure makes for some tough choices of places to fish for them.
