Joined a friend of mine in Montana and fished the Clark Fork River. Hooked onto some nice fish using the God's Tooth spoon 50/50 gold pattern set on fast action. First day I fished the bank and second day, floated the river. The following day, hiked up to Jim Lake in western Montana and used my friend's backpacking small pontoon raft. God blessed with some nice cutthroats for dinner. Most effective pattern was the Perch pattern on fast action. Also got a number of hits on the Pink top set on fast action. Got a nice photo of a western toad!
