Fished Friday the 14th with not a walleye to be found all day and seemed all over the lake. Saturday started like it was going to be a better day...in the first 10 mins of being on the water landed a nice 19+ walleye up by the state park and thought we had the spot and were finally going to be getting some numbers. This was not the case, went the rest of the day with nothing but a couple bullheads and some small perch stealing worms. Then one the last run of the day trying out the lind coulee got this nice 29incher that kind of saved the weekend and took a bad day to a good one just like that. We were fishing bottom walkers primarily with all sorts of colors blades and bead combinations. The combo that got both the walleyes though was a red/gold blade with green and orange beads and slow death hook. Hopefully better lucks the next times out.
