Spent the weekend up at Lake Kachees trolling for kokes. We were using Jack Lloyd pop gear with my home made wedding rings in orange, red, and green. (3 of us in the boat) Used garlic scented corn and tuna scented corn with bloody tuna scent and shrimp scent on the lures. Trolled up where the little lake meets the big lake and had some very consistant action all morning. I brought in 5 and my neice and her fiancé both brought in 3 fish. We could have easily limited but lost a lot of fish so the fishing was busy, our skills at landing were slovenly. Overall a great weekend on the water and the fish this year were small.... in the 8 to 10 inch range. with a couple hitting the 12 inch mark.
