Fishing solo, I launched my small boat onto Wye Lake. There were 2 bass anglers fishing from the shoreline as I arrived. The bright sun was shining and it was just a tad windy. As usual the fishing was great but the catching -- not so much. Just as I was leaving another bass angler showed up to give it a try in his kayak. It was a nice day on the water. I just feel blessed to still be able to go fishing solo at the ripe old age of 88.
