Fished the Nooksack on Sunday when the tribes are not able to fish and within 30 min of the incoming tide had 3 fish landed. lost 2 more at the bank. most everyone is drifting Dick Nites and wicked Willy's as bait is closed until Sept 1. Fishing was fun and not too crowded. was in such a hurry to get out that I forgot a picture.

It is still definitely early right now but another week or so and we should see some decent fishable numbers.... not like in years past. I will be pulling out the drift boat and hitting the river to avoid the crowds beginning of next week. Good luck everyone.
