Well we finished 7 days at Sekiu, it was fun to be on the water, but the fishing for us was very poor. We were after Coho so let the pinks go for the first 4 days, that was a bad mistake. We ended up with 4 coho and 3 pinks at the end of the week......when we figured our that we should keep some pinks to get something for smoking , we only got 3 in 3 days, but still turned a bunch of coho loose that had a nice fin......there were some nice ones caught but for the most part they were small and far apart. The weather the last 3 days was heavy swells and chop, thick fog and I mean thick, without GPS we could not have gotten out of the bay, let alone found our way back in at night. even with 2 GPS units I was still very nervous. We did catch a lot of fish just not what we were after....to many fins............

I hate fishing in thick fog. Im always worried we're going to run into someone else on the troll or a commercial fishing boat or something. You hate to stay in when you've taken the time off and spent the money though.....
