No luck today. I took my son out today and we bottom fished from the dock for a couple of hours. We tried our powerboat trout nuggets and different length leaders.
We still enjoyed ourselves despite the lack of activity and the lake was pretty quiet. As we packed it up we could see some decent sized bass swimming through the weds right by the shore so we three on a couple small jigs in pink and green. Despite what I am sure was a unique style of fishing my son invented, we still didn't catch anything. Maybe I will hit lake Margaret later and see is I can convince something to bite.
