Headed out of Big Salmon Resort in Neah Bay with Northwest Fishing Reports sponsor Sekiu Charters.

Last year these guys suffered a boat fire while we were there and have overcame a lot to be in the midst of great season.

Their new boat was comfortable and spacious and Captains Rob & Amber got us on the fish! Amber received her Captains license this winter. Congratulations are in order.

Captain Rob had us head out to swift shore. Trolling flashers and squid at depths between 80-150 feet. We were joined by James Beasley of Wicked Lures for a little tackle testing: Using a surface rod and cannonball, we couldn't keep the Coho off the lines. Very fun catching these fish! Average of 4-8 lbs.

We finished so quickly, on the way in, Capt. Rob set us up for some bottomfish jigging and we pulled in a nice mixed bag of ling cod, sea bass, and other rock fish.

It was a great trip and we'll be back!
