I gave it a 4 but kinda between a 3 and 4. Hoped for more Nooks but it is kinda late. Went over to Sekiu on Sunday and fished until Wed. Stayed at Van Ripers with my son in law and his dad. Fished in my Seahawk, final score 2 Chinooks and 10 Coho. Fished Nooks on Sun, Mon and Tues morning. 4 violent take downs and put two marked Nooks in the boat 12 and 14. Switched to Coho about 10 Tues, 3-4 miles out and landed about 12 and kept 6 marked fish in about two hours. Typical mid August hatchery Coho 4-5 pounds. Some of the unmarked fish were much bigger. On Wed AM got our 4 marked Coho in about an hour and filled our poss limit. Seems like lots and lots of Coho around.

Side note. No Pinks at all. In Pink years they usually will hit Coho gear too. I've been over to Sekiu many times in late July and first part of August. Usually so many Pinks around they become a nuisance. I heard no reports of Pinks on the VHF or around the motel. None on the cleaning tables, 90% small Coho and a few Chinooks.
